Air Force Command Headquarters issued a press release to clarify the malfunction of the instrument of S-70C used in Air Force Ambulance Corps. (February 6th, 2018)

Air Force Command Headquarters claimed today (6th) that a S-70C helicopter (no. 7009) in Air Force Ambulance Corps started to operate the mission of searching for the disconnected UH-60M helicopter of the National Airborne Service Crops from 06:56 and found the malfunction of the instrument in the process. The pilot then landed on Lanyu Airport at 07.40 according to the emergency operation procedure, and no damage occurred to the crew members and the helicopter with the appropriate operation.

Air Force Command Headquarters also claimed that the reason had been investigating by the authority, and another S-70C helicopter had been replaced to continue the mission to let the people rest assured.
